Alta Loma High School believes that students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement deserve to be recognized, and honors these students in the following ways.

CSF
The California Scholarship Federation supports and encourages academic excellence for students during their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years.
Cum Laude- (Latin for "with praise")
Cum Laude recognizes Seniors who have maintained unusually high grades in a rigorous college program through seven semesters. Members of the society have their diploma, and receive a certificate at the annual honors and recognition ceremony. Information about membership can be obtained from counselors or the Assistant Principal.
Presidents Honor Roll
Six consecutive semesters with a GPA of 3.0 - 2nd semester of freshman year through first semester of senior year and are eligible to wear a gold tassel at graduation.
Honor Roll
Students who earn a GPA of 3.0 -3.49 are eligible for honor roll.
Student of the Month
Each month of the school year a different instructional department chooses an outstanding student from each grade level. A ceremony is held in the Principal's office during which each student receives a plaque and a letter to parents.
Gate Boosters
Organization that raises money and keeps informed of the GATE Program at ALHS.
