Information and applications are available in the Guidance/ Counseling Office. Please complete the Scholarship Information Request Form(half sheet) displayed on the counter to receive information or applications. Remember to also check the Library and Career Center for other scholarship information. Most scholarships are now offered on the Internet. We have wonderful, helpful staff to assist you with your college and career goals.

Now Debate This Competition
The Now Debae This Competition is open to students over 16 years of age and in 11th grade. You must be planning on attending a regionally accredidted four-year undergraduate college or university. You must also be a legal resident of the US to be eligible. To enter this contest you must submit a video introducing yourself explaining your position on the presidency, patriotidm, or the Decloration of Independence. College Insider Resources Athletic Students Scholarship Program
The College Insider Resources Athletic Students Scholarship Program is available to high school students 10 to 12. You must have a minimum 2.7 GPA to be eligible for this award. College Prowler Essay Competition
The College Prowler Essay Competition is your original work and not previously published through print or electronic medium. Also, you must be a legal resident of the United State to be eligible for this award. Go to http://campuslife.collegeprowler.com/the_scholarship.asp for more details.


SENIORS: When you apply for admission to a college you will receive information on that schools own scholarship opportunities. Be sure to check with the Guidance Office and in the College and Career Center for information on campus tours, on-site admission, preview days, and visits from college representatives. Use the computers in the Career Center to search for scholarships.

Common Knowledge Movie Scholarship
This scholarship isopen to all high school students, college students and parents. To be eligible for the award you must register at the Common Knowledge site and participate in a quiz based on your knowledge of the movies "Finding Forester," "Aladdin" and "Toy Story." Unmet Need Scholarship
Open to families with a combined income of $30,000 or less. Graduating seniors must be U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are accepted or enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at an approved/accredited institutions.

Eligibility: 2.5 GPA, U.S. citizen who is a senior student from a low-income family

Award: $1,000 - $3,800

USC Norman Topping Student Aid Fund
The Fund offers supplemental scholarships to entering USC Freshman, entering Transfer, and entering Graduate students. The criteria for selection is a focus on high financial need students who demonstrate extraordinary levels of community awareness. Given the spirit of the Fund, applicants who reside in the local community and first-generation college students are given primary consideration in the selection process.
