The ALHS Dance Program accomplished some great things this last weekend:
First we hosted the Inland Empire Dance Invitational, which was a huge success! This is where 9 schools come together and share their dance talent with each other and an audiance of 1,600 people at the beautiful Gardiner Spring Auditorium. Our JV and Varsity did an outsanding job representing ALHS on stage! If you were not there you missed a great show!
What also contributed to its success is how Alta Loma past and present came together. Not only were there 50 parents from our current booster club working the event, we also had an additional 10 parents from past booster clubs. I am proud to report to you the type of dedicationour parents displayed to our students and our program. All the visiting teachers commented on all the work we had done as a school and how special they felt through our efforts> I thank my current booster board; Diane McElroy, Debbie Sonders, Dani Mclllvain, Viad Licera, Monica Rodriguez, & Linda Mason for the organization and effort!
The good news does not end here!
The next day our Varsity Dance Team went to USA Regional's competition, were they are to qaulify for Nationals. through their great efforts they qualified for championship the top category in all 5 divisions.
